However, in contrast to Handyhand, Happy Helper aims to connect people with cleaners for long-term relationships. The platform provides customers with an easy and transparent way to find the right, local cleaners. Cleaners, on the other hand, get support with all the administrative tasks that are usually involved for freelancers, student workers and small businesses.

The Happy Helper platform uses Billwerk+ for its recurring payments to make it easy for customers and helpers alike to manage (and receive) payments on a regular basis.

We inherited Billwerk+ when we bought Happy Helper. We got some good support. We had to move all the existing customer credit cards to the new platform within Billwerk+ and that worked out quite nicely.

The fees are much lower than for Stripe, which we also use. As a platform that works with very low margins on every transaction, being able to have a lower fee is very valuable to us, so Billwerk+ is a great choice on that account.

And then I love that Billwerk+ integrates with so many different payment solutions which is nice. Right now, we’re just using credit cards on Happy Helper, but I really want to enable MobilePay and a couple of other solutions.
